Korean face care routine

It is time for your skin to regain its natural beauty. Although 10 steps may seem too complicated, everyone is already experiencing 5 or 6 already, and only a few additional steps have been added for an optimal result.

Step 1: Oil cleaner
"Skin care starts with cleaning"

To start with clean skin, you have to start with a cleansing wipe and an oil -based cleaner. Massage it on your face and neck to remove makeup, massage again, then rinse everything. Of course, you can jump this step when you are not made up.

Step 2: Double cleaning with a water -based cleaner

Now that you have removed most of the makeup, cleaning up by using a water -based cleaner to make sure you have eliminated all the impurities that your oil cleaner could have missed. A clean base will bring maximum results and comfort for the rest of the processes.

Step 3: Exfolier

Use a soft exfoliant several times a week to remove dead cells from the skin.
Dead cells that obstruct our pores also tend to stay on the surface, which can lead to a general dull appearance, as well as the appearance of fine lines.

When we are younger, our skin cycle counterbalances to a large extent this naturally faster phenomenon, but as we age, our skin cycle slows down. The new cells are reproduced at a slower rate, so that deceased dead cells tend to stay in place longer. Therefore, everyone has a different cycle for this stage.

Using a gentle exfoliant like glycolic acid or lactic acid, old cells are encouraged to detach from new cells, which gives your face a naturally radiant face.

Step 4: Toner or skin

It is important that your skin is sufficiently hydrated for the following steps to be absorbed and that its pH is balanced.

It is important to tap here because you must make sure that each layer is absorbed by the skin before moving on to the next. Tap the toner on your face about 3 times to provide maximum hydration.

Step 5: Leaf mask

Treat yourself to a treatment of 20 minutes at least once a week. Meanwhile, prepare a cup of tea, turn on a scented candle, sit with a book and detach yourself from the concerns of your working day.

Step 6: Punctual treatment

You can apply a targeted treatment on dull skin, dilated pores, pigmentation, wrinkles or acne.

Step 7: Serum, petrol or bulb

It is essentially a very concentrated formula whose consistency is similar to that of your tonic.

Step 8: Eye Cream

Gently apply the eye cream, not only in the eyes, but also around the lips before applying the moisturizer.

Step 9: moisturizer

Depending on your skin type, apply a moisturizer to keep the nutrients that you have applied before. There are many different shapes: face oil, emulsion, lotion, gel or cream.

Step 10: Solar treatment (in the morning)

Finally, apply a sunscreen each morning and renew the application during the day, even in cloudy weather. By protecting your skin from UV rays, you will prevent aging, brown spots and wrinkles and you will keep your skin hydrated.

A new approach for a more minimal routine:
The latest K-Beauty trend is now turning to a more minimal practice that is better suitable for an active lifestyle. I recommend that you find your own routine depending on how your skin feels every day, which is in accordance with the K-Beauty care philosophy.

Even for Koreans, it is rare that they follow all the steps every day. Without makeup, they generally only make 4 to 5 steps in the evening: cleansing - tonic - petrol mousse or serum - Eye cream - cream, and more solar treatment in the morning. Exfoliation and leaf mask can only be performed sometimes a week.

The most important thing is to find the perfect skin care routine by experimenting and knowing what works best for you.
